Shriram Finance shares gain 2.64% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Shriram Finance Ltd. traded at Rs 1865.0 on BSE at 10:10AM (IST) on Monday, up 2.64 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1147.05 and a high of Rs 1876.6.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 11.98 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 156.3 per share and 1.08 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 18,936 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:10AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 70205.06 crore and is part of the NBFC - Diversified industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 35.17 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 18.68 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 1876.6 and Rs 1817.2.

Promoters held 23.47 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2023. FII and MF ownership in Shriram Finance Ltd. stood at 55.36 per cent and 8.84 per cent, respectively.
