Shriram Finance shares gain 2.44% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Shriram Finance Ltd. traded at Rs 2362.45 on BSE at 11:26AM (IST) on Monday, up 2.44 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1190.0 and a high of Rs 2448.85.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 13.54 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 176.86 per share and 1.08 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 36,268 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:26AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 89926.84 crore and is part of the NBFC - Diversified industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 90.4 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 17.9 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 2448.85 and Rs 2304.5.

Promoters held 23.42 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2023. FII and MF ownership in Shriram Finance Ltd. stood at 53.97 per cent and 10.97 per cent, respectively.
