Shriram Finance shares drop 0.88% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Shriram Finance Ltd. traded at Rs 1899.0 on BSE at 12:07PM (IST) on Thursday, down 0.88 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1147.05 and a high of Rs 1974.95.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 12.18 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 156.3 per share and 1.08 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 5,359 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:07PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 71333.31 crore and is part of the NBFC - Diversified industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 49.15 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 11.91 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 1924.9 and Rs 1861.05.

Promoters held 23.47 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2023. FII and MF ownership in Shriram Finance Ltd. stood at 55.36 per cent and 8.84 per cent, respectively.
