Shriram Finance shares decline 1.94% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Shriram Finance Ltd. traded at Rs 1855.2 on BSE at 01:49PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 1.94 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1147.05 and a high of Rs 1899.9.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 26,260 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:49PM (IST).

The stock of Shriram Finance Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 69832.09 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 11.92, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 1.08. Return on equity (ROE) was at 13.87 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 281 stocks traded in the green, while 220 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 25.48 per cent in the Shriram Finance Ltd. as of 30-Jun-2023 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 55.36 per cent and 14.66 per cent, respectively.
