Shree Cements shares down 0.57% as Nifty gains

NEW DELHI: Shares of Shree Cements Ltd. traded 0.57 per cent down in Thursday's trade at 01:03PM (IST). Around 215 shares changed hands on the counter.

The scrip opened at Rs 27538.9 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 27643.95 and Rs 27222.65, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of Shree Cements Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 30710.15 and a 52-week low of Rs 22601.3.

Total market cap of the Shree Cements Ltd. stood at Rs 99362.41 crore at the time of writing this report.


Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 5582.44 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2024, up 3.94 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 5370.65 crore and up 6.42 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 5245.91 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 674.88 crore, up 28.36 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Shareholding pattern
As of 31-Mar-2024, domestic institutional investors held 7.55 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 12.46 per cent and the promoters 62.55 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 41.48 and a price-to-book ratio of 4.48. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations.
