Share price of Zee Ent. falls as Nifty weakens

Shares of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. slipped 2.8 per cent to Rs 299.9 in Friday's trade as of 12:44PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 308.5 and low of Rs 297.8 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 7.92 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 12:44PM shares and turnover at Rs 12.04 crore around that time.


The stock of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 378.6 and Rs 166.8, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.98.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 3.99 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2021, while FIIs held 52.21 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 20.86 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 2010.47 crore for the quarter ended 30-Sep-2021, up 11.16 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 1808.56 crore and up 14.19 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1760.61 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 270.16 crore, up 187.19 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
