Share price of Varun Beverages rises as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Varun Beverages Ltd. gained 3.0 per cent to Rs 952.05 in Tuesday's trade as of 10:00AM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 960.0 and low of Rs 927.7 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 29.34 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 10:00AM shares and turnover at Rs 2.47 crore around that time.


The stock of Varun Beverages Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 960.0 and Rs 481.67, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.34.

Promoters held 63.62 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2023, while overseas investors held 26.71 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 3.16 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 5653.0 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2023, up 44.83 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 3903.11 crore and up 13.85 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 4965.29 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 993.81 crore, up 26.21 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
