Share price of United Spirits rises as Nifty weakens

Shares of United Spirits Ltd. gained 0.38 per cent to Rs 991.4 in Monday's trade as of 10:35AM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 996.1 and low of Rs 981.3 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 18.93 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 10:35AM shares and turnover at Rs 206.0 crore around that time.


The stock of United Spirits Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 1050.0 and Rs 730.9, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.06.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 56.68 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2023, while foreign investors held 15.92 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 12.45 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 5830.1 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2023, up 131.28 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 2520.8 crore and up 138.42 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 2445.3 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 476.7 crore, up 79.08 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
