Share price of Piramal Ent. rises as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Piramal Enterprises Ltd. gained 1.65 per cent to Rs 856.5 in Friday's trade as of 10:25AM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 858.6 and low of Rs 843.05 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 5.41 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 10:25AM shares and turnover at Rs 1.02 crore around that time.


The stock of Piramal Enterprises Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 3013.0 and Rs 831.75, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.96.

Promoters held 43.49 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2022, while overseas investors held 34.54 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 8.13 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 3726.46 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2022, down 15.33 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 4401.03 crore and down 23.74 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 3011.6 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 496.09 crore, down 8.03 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
