Share price of Pidilite Ind rises as Nifty weakens

Shares of Pidilite Industries Ltd. gained 0.7 per cent to Rs 2876.3 in Wednesday's trade as of 10:41AM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 2896.55 and low of Rs 2842.9 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 17.76 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 10:41AM shares and turnover at Rs 2.63 crore around that time.


The stock of Pidilite Industries Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 2961.1 and Rs 2279.1, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.04.

Promoters held 69.84 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2023, while FIIs held 11.49 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 8.26 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 3166.97 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2023, up 1.91 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 3107.63 crore and up 5.47 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 3002.72 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 510.48 crore, up 67.83 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
