Share price of Pidilite Ind falls as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Pidilite Industries Ltd. slipped 1.35 per cent to Rs 2488.7 in Tuesday's trade as of 11:11AM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 2530.0 and low of Rs 2482.4 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 17.76 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 11:11AM shares and turnover at Rs 1.67 crore around that time.


The stock of Pidilite Industries Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 2916.85 and Rs 2250.85, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.04.

Promoters held 69.92 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2023, while overseas investors held 11.34 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 7.87 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 3298.54 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2023, up 21.62 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 2712.07 crore and up 6.0 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 3111.79 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 468.16 crore, up 32.39 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
