Share price of Marico rises as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Marico Ltd. gained 0.04 per cent to Rs 696.15 in Thursday's trade as of 01:24PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 702.2 and low of Rs 689.85 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 38.64 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 01:24PM shares and turnover at Rs 1.83 crore around that time.


The stock of Marico Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 705.15 and Rs 486.75, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.8.

Promoters held 59.28 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2024, while overseas investors held 24.61 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 11.06 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 2680.0 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2024, up 16.88 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 2293.0 crore and up 6.22 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 2523.0 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 464.0 crore, up 8.67 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
