Share price of Marico rises as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Marico Ltd. gained 0.39 per cent to Rs 615.4 in Thursday's trade as of 10:56AM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 620.65 and low of Rs 610.0 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 38.64 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 10:56AM shares and turnover at Rs 0.41 crore around that time.


The stock of Marico Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 666.85 and Rs 486.75, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.8.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 59.35 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2024, while overseas investors held 25.55 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 9.78 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 2293.0 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2024, down 6.98 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 2465.0 crore and down 0.65 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 2308.0 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 318.0 crore, up 5.3 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
