Share price of Cummins India falls as Nifty weakens

Shares of Cummins India Ltd. slipped 1.36 per cent to Rs 3351.4 in Friday's trade as of 11:31AM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 3402.9 and low of Rs 3310.0 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 26.02 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 11:31AM shares and turnover at Rs 1.72 crore around that time.


The stock of Cummins India Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 4169.5 and Rs 1658.65, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.1.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 51.0 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Sep-2024, while foreign investors held 17.5 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 22.38 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 2419.29 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2024, up 0.02 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 2418.92 crore and up 4.86 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 2307.23 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 462.61 crore, up 30.78 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
