Share price of Crompton Greaves falls as Nifty weakens

Shares of Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. slipped 0.35 per cent to Rs 426.3 in Wednesday's trade as of 12:58PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 430.55 and low of Rs 415.5 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 15.04 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 12:58PM shares and turnover at Rs 2.75 crore around that time.


The stock of Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 441.95 and Rs 262.1, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.82.

Promoters held 2.54 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2024, while foreign investors held 32.18 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 51.15 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 1977.04 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2024, up 15.66 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 1709.36 crore and up 9.37 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1807.73 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 138.36 crore, up 5.49 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
