Share price of Berger Paints falls as Nifty weakens

Shares of Berger Paints (India) Ltd. slipped 1.05 per cent to Rs 609.15 in Friday's trade as of 12:02PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 616.0 and low of Rs 606.65 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 21.2 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 12:02PM shares and turnover at Rs 1.6 crore around that time.


The stock of Berger Paints (India) Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 856.9 and Rs 543.85, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.89.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 74.99 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2022, while overseas investors held 11.03 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 3.58 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 2772.74 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2022, up 25.65 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 2206.63 crore and up 52.72 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1815.52 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 253.43 crore, up 80.26 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
