Share price of Aurobindo Pharma falls as Nifty weakens

Shares of Aurobindo Pharma Ltd. slipped 0.19 per cent to Rs 567.1 in Wednesday's trade as of 11:27AM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 575.1 and low of Rs 564.6 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 10.77 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 11:27AM shares and turnover at Rs 1.16 crore around that time.


The stock of Aurobindo Pharma Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 902.45 and Rs 503.4, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.06.

Promoters held 51.83 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2022, while foreign investors held 22.43 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 15.58 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 5858.25 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2022, down 3.44 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 6067.21 crore and down 3.64 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 6079.6 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 576.46 crore, down 28.08 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
