Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: NCL Research(number of shares traded: 1.14 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 0.97 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 0.90 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 0.80 crore), Brightcom Group(number of shares traded: 0.66 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 0.48 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 0.48 crore), Shalimar Prod(number of shares traded: 0.47 crore), ARC Finance(number of shares traded: 0.40 crore) and MPS Infotecnics (number of shares traded: 0.38 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:45AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 106.45 points up at 17504.5, while BSE Sensex was up 418.49 points at 59524.93 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 2.49 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 2.44 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(up 2.32 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 2.28 per cent) and ITC Ltd.(up 1.66 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.00 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 0.00 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.00 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.00 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 0.00 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
