Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Zee Ent.(number of shares traded: 3.03 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 2.89 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 2.80 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 2.45 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 1.85 crore), IRB Infra Dev.(number of shares traded: 1.83 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.53 crore), GAIL(number of shares traded: 1.31 crore), Infibeam Avenues(number of shares traded: 1.25 crore) and Adani Power(number of shares traded: 1.19 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:14AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 29.2 points up at 17583.5, while BSE Sensex was up 90.11 points at 59835.09 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.71 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.70 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 1.60 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.53 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.51 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Asian Paints Ltd.(down 2.22 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 0.76 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 0.68 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(down 0.64 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.51 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
