Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 9.37 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 4.00 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 3.38 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 3.12 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 2.47 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 2.07 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 1.90 crore), IDFC First Bank(number of shares traded: 1.82 crore), Adani Power(number of shares traded: 1.15 crore) and Devyani Int(number of shares traded: 1.15 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:09AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 71.4 points up at 17562.1, while BSE Sensex was up 208.45 points at 58982.32 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 3.58 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.56 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 2.31 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.24 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 2.23 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Infosys Ltd.(down 1.60 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.59 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 0.70 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.58 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
