Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 7.44 crore), IFCI(number of shares traded: 7.21 crore), MMTC(number of shares traded: 5.36 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 4.81 crore), Sagility India Ltd.(number of shares traded: 4.16 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 3.88 crore), Apollo Micro Systems(number of shares traded: 2.74 crore), SAIL(number of shares traded: 1.92 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 1.60 crore) and Eternal(number of shares traded: 1.33 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:04AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 67.75 points up at 24820.2, while BSE Sensex was up 243.09 points at 81555.41 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Trent Ltd.(up 1.87 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.67 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.27 per cent), Eternal Ltd.(up 1.23 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.19 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 0.90 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 0.60 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 0.57 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 0.52 per cent) and Jio Financial Services Ltd.(down 0.52 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
