Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 7.29 crore), Standard Cap(number of shares traded: 2.53 crore), Avance Tech(number of shares traded: 2.13 crore), Mirch Technologies (number of shares traded: 2.04 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 0.89 crore), G G Engineering(number of shares traded: 0.73 crore), Sunshine Capital(number of shares traded: 0.71 crore), Stampede Cap(number of shares traded: 0.70 crore), Karda Const(number of shares traded: 0.67 crore) and Enbee Trade Fin(number of shares traded: 0.63 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:28AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 5.21 points up at 25025.0, while BSE Sensex was down 24.56 points at 82306.03 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 2.86 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.79 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.41 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.05 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 0.97 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Eternal Ltd.(down 1.93 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.22 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 0.93 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.87 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 0.86 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
