Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.49 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 1.32 crore), Mirch Technologies (number of shares traded: 1.31 crore), Standard Cap(number of shares traded: 0.77 crore), GACM Technologies Ltd.(number of shares traded: 0.67 crore), Karda Const(number of shares traded: 0.66 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 0.59 crore), Bharti Airtel(number of shares traded: 0.51 crore), Pradhin Ltd.(number of shares traded: 0.49 crore) and G G Engineering(number of shares traded: 0.44 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:06AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 74.5 points down at 24987.6, while BSE Sensex was down 284.46 points at 82246.28 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 3.56 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.65 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 0.98 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 0.88 per cent) and Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.84 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 2.78 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.53 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.67 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 1.65 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 1.65 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
