Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 4.56 crore), JP Associates(number of shares traded: 0.51 crore), G G Engineering(number of shares traded: 0.39 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 0.39 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 0.38 crore), India Steel Work(number of shares traded: 0.35 crore), Stampede Cap(number of shares traded: 0.29 crore), Alstone Textiles(number of shares traded: 0.29 crore), Srestha Finvest(number of shares traded: 0.27 crore) and Shree Securities(number of shares traded: 0.27 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:15AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 112.5 points up at 23599.35, while BSE Sensex was up 392.23 points at 77680.73 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 2.05 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.58 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 1.36 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 1.30 per cent) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.23 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Tata Motors Ltd.(down 5.34 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.24 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.48 per cent) and Asian Paints Ltd.(down 0.43 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
