Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.29 crore), TBO Tek(number of shares traded: 0.73 crore), Gujarat Toolroom(number of shares traded: 0.45 crore), Hind Const Co(number of shares traded: 0.38 crore), JP Associates(number of shares traded: 0.37 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 0.31 crore), Alstone Textiles(number of shares traded: 0.30 crore), G G Engineering(number of shares traded: 0.26 crore), Srestha Finvest(number of shares traded: 0.25 crore) and JP Power(number of shares traded: 0.24 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:09AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 83.1 points up at 23273.75, while BSE Sensex was up 248.22 points at 76596.28 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 2.47 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 2.42 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.75 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.49 per cent) and Coal India Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Infosys Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.61 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.58 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd.(down 0.57 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
