Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 13.21 crore), Bandhan Bank(number of shares traded: 2.63 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 1.98 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 1.69 crore), IDFC First Bank(number of shares traded: 1.63 crore), Manappuram Finance(number of shares traded: 1.25 crore), CreditAccess Grameen(number of shares traded: 1.16 crore), Motherson Sumi(number of shares traded: 1.08 crore), Jyoti Structure(number of shares traded: 1.04 crore) and GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 0.97 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:39AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 0.71 points down at 22546.85, while BSE Sensex was up 7.44 points at 74609.56 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 4.45 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.91 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 2.73 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.61 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.21 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 4.61 per cent), Trent Ltd.(down 2.47 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.82 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.77 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.67 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
