Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: NHC Foods(number of shares traded: 1.98 crore), Srestha Finvest(number of shares traded: 0.85 crore), Earum Pharmaceutical(number of shares traded: 0.58 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 0.53 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 0.53 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 0.37 crore), Karda Const(number of shares traded: 0.30 crore), Filatex Fashions(number of shares traded: 0.29 crore), Gujarat Toolroom(number of shares traded: 0.29 crore) and Avance Tech(number of shares traded: 0.19 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:09AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 111.8 points up at 23069.05, while BSE Sensex was up 324.88 points at 76226.29 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 3.78 per cent), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 2.75 per cent), Trent Ltd.(up 2.44 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 2.11 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.95 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.52 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.16 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 0.65 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.63 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd.(down 0.47 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
