Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Srestha Finvest(number of shares traded: 2.16 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.80 crore), Gujarat Toolroom(number of shares traded: 1.67 crore), Avance Tech(number of shares traded: 1.17 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 0.68 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 0.57 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 0.56 crore), G G Engineering(number of shares traded: 0.55 crore), Sawaca Business(number of shares traded: 0.50 crore) and Standard Cap(number of shares traded: 0.42 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:00AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 60.66 points down at 23465.85, while BSE Sensex was 131.98 points at 77488.23 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 4.68 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.51 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 2.16 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.23 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 0.96 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 3.91 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 2.69 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.66 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.12 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
