Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.41 crore), Srestha Finvest(number of shares traded: 1.60 crore), Remedium Lifecare(number of shares traded: 1.08 crore), G G Engineering(number of shares traded: 0.81 crore), Avance Tech(number of shares traded: 0.66 crore), Filatex Fashions(number of shares traded: 0.57 crore), Standard Cap(number of shares traded: 0.56 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 0.42 crore), Shangar Decor(number of shares traded: 0.42 crore) and OK Play India(number of shares traded: 0.36 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:10AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 130.41 points down at 23558.55, while BSE Sensex was 426.56 points at 77721.93 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 2.87 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 2.86 per cent), ITC Ltd.(up 2.11 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 2.03 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.80 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 2.65 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.10 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.85 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 1.67 per cent) and Coal India Ltd.(down 1.64 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
