Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Srestha Finvest(number of shares traded: 3.18 crore), Alstone Textiles(number of shares traded: 1.19 crore), Avance Tech(number of shares traded: 1.11 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 1.07 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.00 crore), NCL Research(number of shares traded: 0.78 crore), G V Films(number of shares traded: 0.75 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 0.74 crore), Karda Const(number of shares traded: 0.68 crore) and Spicejet(number of shares traded: 0.66 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:19AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 60.25 points down at 24938.2, while BSE Sensex was down 182.75 points at 81428.66 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.26 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.28 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.26 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 2.30 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 1.47 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.30 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(down 1.25 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
