Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 2.21 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.20 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 1.14 crore), IFL Enterprises(number of shares traded: 1.08 crore), Vikas Ecotech (number of shares traded: 1.01 crore), G V Films(number of shares traded: 0.91 crore), MTNL(number of shares traded: 0.87 crore), Shalimar Prod(number of shares traded: 0.76 crore), Rama Steel Tubes(number of shares traded: 0.73 crore) and YES Bank(number of shares traded: 0.69 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:39AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 67.7 points up at 25018.85, while BSE Sensex was up 146.88 points at 81888.22 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 2.92 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 2.65 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 2.26 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 2.07 per cent) and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.02 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.47 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(down 0.66 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
