Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 9.43 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.24 crore), Khoobsurat Ltd(number of shares traded: 1.83 crore), Alstone Textiles(number of shares traded: 1.12 crore), Avance Tech(number of shares traded: 1.11 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 0.95 crore), Toyam Industries (number of shares traded: 0.74 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 0.67 crore), Srestha Finvest(number of shares traded: 0.66 crore) and Excel Realty N Infra(number of shares traded: 0.64 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:14AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 49.66 points up at 24884.5, while BSE Sensex was up 200.05 points at 81532.77 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, State Bank of India(up 2.13 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 2.02 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.74 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.59 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.49 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Cipla Ltd.(down 2.32 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.20 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.99 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
