Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 9.27 crore), G G Engineering(number of shares traded: 2.34 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.36 crore), Alstone Textiles(number of shares traded: 1.15 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 1.00 crore), Franklin Industries(number of shares traded: 0.95 crore), Indian Renewable(number of shares traded: 0.89 crore), SCI(number of shares traded: 0.57 crore), Avance Tech(number of shares traded: 0.54 crore) and Sawaca Business(number of shares traded: 0.50 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:19AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 61.35 points up at 24377.3, while BSE Sensex was up 121.8 points at 80019.14 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Wipro Ltd.(up 3.39 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 3.31 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 2.90 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 2.18 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(up 1.93 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.38 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.13 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.09 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.00 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 0.62 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
