Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 49.31 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 6.41 crore), Indian Railway Fin(number of shares traded: 5.80 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(number of shares traded: 5.50 crore), NHPC(number of shares traded: 5.28 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 4.07 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 3.51 crore), HFCL(number of shares traded: 3.48 crore), BEL(number of shares traded: 3.21 crore) and Indian Renewable(number of shares traded: 3.11 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:15AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 32.0 points up at 22989.1, while BSE Sensex was up 182.99 points at 75593.38 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 4.31 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.63 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.37 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 1.29 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.09 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.30 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 2.09 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.82 per cent) and Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 1.79 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
