Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 4.59 crore), Infibeam Avenues(number of shares traded: 3.66 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 3.14 crore), Zomato(number of shares traded: 2.90 crore), Indian Railway Fin(number of shares traded: 2.79 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 2.38 crore), IOB(number of shares traded: 2.20 crore), ITI Ltd(number of shares traded: 2.10 crore), Ujjivan SFB(number of shares traded: 1.66 crore) and Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 1.60 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:29AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 102.05 points up at 19614.4, while BSE Sensex was up 350.18 points at 65862.57 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 2.94 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 2.64 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.75 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.66 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 0.84 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.71 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.45 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 0.39 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(down 0.17 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
