Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 24.68 crore), Indian Railway Fin(number of shares traded: 22.70 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 18.35 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 15.27 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 13.40 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(number of shares traded: 10.64 crore), SJVN(number of shares traded: 9.91 crore), Vikas Multicorp(number of shares traded: 8.46 crore), Brightcom Group(number of shares traded: 8.39 crore) and Vikas Ecotech (number of shares traded: 8.38 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:19AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 36.05 points down at 19960.3, while BSE Sensex was down 80.19 points at 67046.89 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 3.11 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.70 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.86 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 0.75 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 0.68 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.48 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.26 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 2.13 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.92 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.65 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
