Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vedanta (number of shares traded: 19.67 crore), Indian Railway Fin(number of shares traded: 14.50 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 9.52 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 4.79 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.86 crore), Zomato(number of shares traded: 2.50 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 2.05 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 1.85 crore), Ibull Housing Fin(number of shares traded: 1.47 crore) and Ujjivan SFB(number of shares traded: 1.27 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:04AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 36.0 points down at 19490.55, while BSE Sensex was down 127.62 points at 65655.16 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 2.76 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.87 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.38 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.27 per cent) and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.96 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While UPL Ltd.(down 3.40 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 2.42 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
