Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Kotak Bank(number of shares traded: 3.46 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 1.94 crore), Brightcom Group(number of shares traded: 1.71 crore), Avance Tech(number of shares traded: 1.27 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 0.87 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 0.77 crore), Seacoast Shipping(number of shares traded: 0.75 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 0.73 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 0.66 crore) and Indian Energy Exchg(number of shares traded: 0.65 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:50AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 8.0 points down at 18626.55, while BSE Sensex was down 38.09 points at 62810.55 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.14 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.34 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.01 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.95 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 0.92 per cent) were among the top gainers.


While Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 1.46 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 1.30 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.24 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.09 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
