Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Adani Ent.(Rs. 100.64 crore), Maruti Suzuki(Rs. 87.10 crore), RIL(Rs. 63.30 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 52.50 crore), Zee Ent.(Rs. 50.83 crore), Zomato Ltd.(Rs. 44.59 crore), ITC(Rs. 43.97 crore), SBI(Rs. 34.95 crore), Infosys(Rs. 34.35 crore) and Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 33.86 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 43.05 points down at 17511.25, while BSE Sensex fell 139.18 points to 59605.8.

In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.57 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.44 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.32 per cent), ITC Ltd.(up 0.98 per cent) and State Bank of India(up 0.90 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Asian Paints Ltd.(down 3.22 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.62 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.62 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.58 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.57 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
