Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Adani Ent.(Rs. 2281.24 crore), Vedanta (Rs. 1660.01 crore), SBI(Rs. 1513.70 crore), RIL(Rs. 1498.86 crore), Bajaj Finserv(Rs. 1244.02 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 945.84 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 909.63 crore), AmaraRaja Batteries(Rs. 894.07 crore), Karnataka Bank(Rs. 893.75 crore) and HDFC Bank(Rs. 810.25 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 64.45 points up at 18117.15, while BSE Sensex rose 113.95 points to 60950.36.

In the Nifty index, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 6.76 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 4.92 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 4.48 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 3.48 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(up 3.17 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.17 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 1.46 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.41 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.23 per cent) and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.12 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
