Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Syrma SGS Technology Ltd.(Rs. 1740.33 crore), RIL(Rs. 1299.99 crore), RBL Bank(Rs. 1271.80 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 908.62 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 770.57 crore), Piramal Ent.(Rs. 711.79 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 708.16 crore), Rolex Rings(Rs. 707.43 crore), SBI(Rs. 675.14 crore) and Kotak Bank(Rs. 636.19 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 36.45 points up at 17558.9, while BSE Sensex rose 59.15 points to 58833.87.

In the Nifty index, Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 3.10 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 2.83 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 2.82 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 2.69 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 2.66 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 3.63 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.85 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.37 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.16 per cent) and Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(down 0.95 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
