Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: HDFC(Rs. 9286.67 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 8045.36 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 3586.64 crore), Adani Wilmar Ltd.(Rs. 1746.18 crore), HDFC Life(Rs. 1389.00 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1387.77 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1276.33 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 1105.30 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 986.45 crore) and RIL(Rs. 972.70 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 382.95 points up at 18053.4, while BSE Sensex rose 1335.05 points to 60611.74.

In the Nifty index, HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 10.01 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(up 9.29 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 4.17 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 3.90 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 3.34 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Infosys Ltd.(down 1.08 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 0.22 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 0.15 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 0.06 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.07 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
