Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: RBL Bank(Rs. 137.13 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 72.21 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 41.87 crore), Wipro(Rs. 41.37 crore), GMR Infra(Rs. 36.54 crore), Moschip Tech(Rs. 34.39 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 34.08 crore), JP Power(Rs. 33.55 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 31.80 crore) and Tata Steel(Rs. 31.52 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 82.5 points up at 17086.25, while BSE Sensex rose 295.93 points to 57420.24.

In the Nifty index, Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.55 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 2.42 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.12 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.43 per cent) and UPL Ltd.(up 1.31 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.33 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 0.83 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.79 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 0.69 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 0.52 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
