Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Asian Paints(Rs. 547.10 crore), IIFL Finance(Rs. 378.81 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 314.17 crore), PB Fintech Ltd.(Rs. 247.28 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 143.04 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 142.41 crore), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(Rs. 114.86 crore), IndusInd Bank(Rs. 113.72 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 95.27 crore) and RIL(Rs. 81.98 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 183.7 points up at 17166.9, while BSE Sensex rose 619.92 points to 57684.79.

In the Nifty index, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 5.74 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 4.73 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 3.65 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 3.63 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 3.52 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Cipla Ltd.(down 4.44 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.59 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.50 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 1.09 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
