Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: CDSL(Rs. 3282.54 crore), BSE(Rs. 2964.46 crore), Reliance Power(Rs. 2845.34 crore), SBI(Rs. 2190.91 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1411.62 crore), Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company Ltd.(Rs. 1398.97 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1364.36 crore), Eternal(Rs. 1340.41 crore), AstraZeneca(Rs. 1287.67 crore) and YES Bank(Rs. 1264.27 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 34.11 points down at 24716.6, while BSE Sensex fell 77.26 points to 81373.75.

In the Nifty index, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 2.46 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.65 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.28 per cent), Eternal Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.14 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.79 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.58 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.48 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.31 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(down 1.23 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
