Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: HAL(Rs. 2867.81 crore), BSE(Rs. 2552.22 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2539.96 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1939.41 crore), HBL Power(Rs. 1911.86 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1895.77 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 1731.40 crore), RIL(Rs. 1525.42 crore), Zomato(Rs. 1279.30 crore) and Trent(Rs. 1255.68 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 353.65 points down at 23165.7, while BSE Sensex fell 1390.41 points to 76024.51.

In the Nifty index, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 5.06 per cent), Trent Ltd.(up 4.73 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.45 per cent), Jio Financial Services Ltd.(up 1.28 per cent) and Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.06 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 3.91 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 3.50 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 3.31 per cent), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(down 3.10 per cent) and Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.83 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
