Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: ITI Ltd(Rs. 3561.24 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2521.10 crore), BSE(Rs. 2240.78 crore), RIL(Rs. 1910.51 crore), Ceat(Rs. 1907.83 crore), Zomato(Rs. 1519.80 crore), Angel One(Rs. 1460.95 crore), L&T(Rs. 1312.70 crore), Godrej Consumer(Rs. 1260.08 crore) and Tata Motors(Rs. 1257.60 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 58.8 points down at 24619.0, while BSE Sensex 200.66 points to 81508.46.

In the Nifty index, Wipro Ltd.(up 2.16 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 2.09 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.44 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.08 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.04 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 4.16 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 3.35 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 2.21 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 1.80 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.72 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
