Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 125.04 crore), ITI Ltd(Rs. 114.08 crore), Zomato(Rs. 91.74 crore), HBL Power(Rs. 87.05 crore), Protean eGov Techno(Rs. 77.58 crore), PayTM(Rs. 75.21 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 60.60 crore), RVNL(Rs. 58.75 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 57.34 crore) and Angel One(Rs. 56.95 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 30.61 points down at 24677.8, while BSE Sensex 56.74 points to 81709.12.

In the Nifty index, Tata Motors Ltd.(up 3.06 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 2.34 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.56 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.17 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.41 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 1.40 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.09 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.04 per cent) and Asian Paints Ltd.(down 0.92 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
