Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 38163.79 crore), BSE(Rs. 5820.87 crore), Voltas(Rs. 4579.71 crore), RIL(Rs. 3735.51 crore), Kalyan Jewellers Ind(Rs. 3716.53 crore), Oberoi Realty(Rs. 3448.68 crore), Alkem Labs(Rs. 3330.29 crore), Zomato(Rs. 3324.86 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 2958.74 crore) and Adani Green(Rs. 2875.58 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 314.66 points up at 24221.9, while BSE Sensex 992.74 points to 80109.85.

In the Nifty index, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 5.01 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 4.15 per cent), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 4.10 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 3.75 per cent) and State Bank of India(up 3.49 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.47 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.85 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 0.66 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 0.65 per cent) and Asian Paints Ltd.(down 0.51 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
