Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: NALCO(Rs. 2582.31 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2312.71 crore), RIL(Rs. 1714.35 crore), Zomato(Rs. 1619.84 crore), IGL(Rs. 1584.93 crore), TCS(Rs. 1349.43 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 1314.13 crore), BSE(Rs. 1164.65 crore), Waaree Energies(Rs. 1135.95 crore) and Axis Bank(Rs. 1067.15 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 78.91 points down at 23453.8, while BSE Sensex 241.3 points to 77339.01.

In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 3.78 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 2.81 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.35 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 3.05 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 3.02 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 2.85 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.71 per cent) and Trent Ltd.(down 2.50 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
